Did you know ?

More than half of people living with HIV in the U.S. are older than 50...
and that number will increase to 70% by the year 2030.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) estimates that there are approximately 1.1 million people living with HIV in
the U.S., and over 56,000 new HIV infections occurring each year.

Currently, only 30% of the 1.1 million people living with HIV in the U.S. are undetectable.

A positive HIV test result can change everything about a person's life - yet it is not a reason to despair.

A well-informed person is better able to gain access to the full range of available treatment options and resources, and is better equipped to make decisions.

    We encourage everyone to:

  • Learn as much as possible about the HIV infection and how it affects the body.
  • Take frequent diagnostic tests - learning what the results mean, and what to do about them.
  • Explore and understand treatment options, and learn to choose therapies wisely.
  • Make positive changes to adapt to and take control of the situation.
  • Last, but not least, be good to yourself.
